Seven Heart-Healthy Snack Recipes

  1. Apple Slices with Almond Butter: Slice 1 apple and serve with 2 tbsp almond butter for dipping.
  2. Greek Yogurt and Berries: Mix 1 cup Greek yogurt with 1 cup mixed berries for a creamy and fruity snack.
  3. Roasted Chickpeas: Drain and rinse 1 can of chickpeas, toss with 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp cumin, roast in the oven at 400°F for 20 minutes.
  4. Veggie Sticks with Hummus: Slice 1 bell pepper, 1 carrot, and 1 cucumber into sticks and serve with 1/2 cup hummus.
  5. Hard Boiled Eggs: Boil 4 eggs for 10 minutes, peel and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  6. Trail Mix: Mix 1/4 cup almonds, 1/4 cup cashews, 1/4 cup dried cranberries, and 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips for a sweet and salty snack.
  7. Baked Sweet Potato Chips: Slice 1 sweet potato thinly, toss with 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp paprika, bake in the oven at 400°F for 15-20 minutes.
